Rainbow Loom : 3D creations

Here are some of my cool rainbow loom creations that I have made. The peas and unicorn i made for my friends and the monkey is for me! I feel like when i make simple loom bands that i am wasting my bands. So I looked up 3D creations on youtube to make these pretty creations!

Aqua Dragons not Sea Monkeys

I went to Toys R Us today and was on a hunt for something else for a friend and decided to get some Sylvanian family dolls for my little sis too. I will not post here yet as I rather it be a surprise for her as I know she will look at this.

I also decided to get myself some sea monkeys, but I couldn't find them as they are called Aqua Dragons. What great rebranding since dragons are the new "IT" thing. I will be updating as they grow up. Its gonna be FUN!

Durian

Durian grows on trees along the branches. Its so cool and it drops at night when it is ready, How considerate. I am now a huge rainbow loom fan and will be posting my awesome creations soon. 

I don't know how much longer Wendy is going to be alive. She is a 14 year old German Shepard. I hope I will get to see her the next time I go back.

This bracelet is a hexafish, however i have found out that you get a similar effect with a trifish and its much quicker. Note to self.

Airport day

To celebrate exams ending I took a plane to Singapore to visit my family. I had the Worst flight. Quants don't do flights direct to Singapore anymore so i had to take Jetstar. There was a Baby in front of my, and 2 people became best friends behind me chatted for 4 hours loudly. An Annoying old lady next to me with nasty eye brows and tattooed eyeliner kept rummaging with her paper and plastic bags. To make things worse, I was in front of an exit row and could not lean my seat back.

Anyways i spent my $10 voucher in food and snacks which was pretty good and during my reading i found a NSFW pic in my book. It was a gift with purchase from Tina herself. Buying books from Good sammy's is the best!

Salted Egg Pasta

This recipe I found on a black milk community group and its super easy and delicious.

Ingredients for one serving:

• 1 salted egg
• 1/6 cup butter
• 1/3 cup milk (full cream so its not too runny)
• 1 serve pasta, I used fresh pasta approx 100g

Steps in creating its wonder.

1. Boil water, add salt and cook pasta
2. Peel and cut salted egg into small pieces
3. Melt butter in saucepan then add milk
4. Add salted egg and stir
5. When sauce starts to boil,  turn off the fire and toss in the pasta
6. Tada! You are done!

I just made it for myself for lunch so it is just the one serving. However, if you were to make it for more, just multiply as required.

Game of Thrones Ball

This post is majorly late. However I am procrastinating so I am gonna write a post!

This is the first uni ball I have been to and you can see where the budget went to, the Booze. I we glad that the only ball dress i had was GOTesque so I was in theme. I just gotta say that i love how my hair turns out when I put them in rollers.

The place cards were a nice touch and I got the keep to sword! Now I have a sword and I don't know what to do with it. I used to say otherwise, but it is worth paying more for your lashes. I am obsessed with Japanese lashes with the clear bands and clumps of lashes attached to them, they look so natural on.

Okay, I'll go back to writing my report. Final year thesis is just the bestest!

Haulin'

I was a little naughty today but it's okay! Birthday weekend for me.

I got 2 pairs of shoes from Zomp and they were on sale, complete win! Jeffrey Campbell - Open Up
I went to Friends of fancy to visit my friend there and managed to get 2 pieces, a gold crop and a baby animals tee. I also got the sesame street jumper from Neonpony and it was their last one, Such a pity.

Not to forget my jewellery, I am going to a game of thrones themed ball so I bought a necklace and hand thingy to match. I shall take pics and make a post about it soon.

then last but not least, my Black Milk.  I got the tartan vs wet look body suit in a swap where I was trying to get rid of my highlighter pink combats anyway, it is so good. And I got the community piece of the dark city body con, and it is true you need to die down in these babies. And Finally the Perth community piece, my bee nana suit. These things are great, the bottom were way comfier than I thought they would be. I will be getting full set from now on, they are amazing.

Cool Cake Day

So like a while ago now, I went to friend's house to bake a cake with her mum. Her mum is an amazing baker and we did some cool icing things. I learnt a lot like how easy it is to actually bake a cake.

1Kg Butter Cake is basically :

• 250g butter
• 250g sugar
• 250g flour
• 1tsp baking powder per 125 gram of flour
• 5 eggs

Its just cream the butter and sugar add eggs one at a time till smooth then add the flour and baking powder a little at a time.

The making of the butter cream frosting was a super guess and check thing. We just chucked in butter and mixed it and kept adding icing sugar till the right consistency was met. runnier for the crumb coat and a bit stiffer for the pretty decorations, more icing sugar. 

Its was quite fun so I might start getting even fancier with my icing job.

Lite & Easy: My Experience

So I have been on Lite & Easy for 3 weeks now and I have been enjoying them. The only thing is that I don't really like the dinner that much, I am really only obsessed with the sausages and mash.

However the breakfasts and lunches are pretty golden! I don't age pics of lunch as I usually eat them quite deconstructed coz I am lazy... so not very pretty.  I like how I am not starving everyday and I have snacks like all the time.

When I first started, I tried the 1200 calorie meal plan it was not enough. I was quite hungry all the time and actually had extra meals. Then the next week I went for the 1500 calorie meal plan it was so much better. I feel like sometimes I even have too much food.

So my current meals cost me $121 for 5 days of 3 meals a day. I do the 5 day as I like to have the choice to go out and eat something else if I wanted. I think that the cost is okay for a lonely single person as my boo is away and cooking for oneself is annoying. How many days can i eat friend rice in row.

Fremantle Sweets

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Fremantle markets and had a fun time eating all the SWEETS!

Those giant doughnuts are to die for . The cookies however are pretty good but made me pig out too much. Do not buy the 4 pack and expect them to be able to be all eaten up by yourself.

And I finally made the little slice of strawberry shortcake felt thingy from the diaso kit that i got whilst I was in Singapore for $2. Its so cute!!!

OOTW - Winter is coming.

I am so happy for leggings weather so I shall be taking more selfies on awesome BM combos. Last week I got really into my 8065 Mary Janes from Doc Martins with my white frilly socks. I has been a while but I got obsessed!!! And you can wear your body cons as skirts. so that was a thing too. 

I think this might make a regular appearance as I wear ore noteworthy outfits. 

Yummy Food

I have been bad but I am back! I shall have more posts this week as I have a lot to say.

My boo was back for his R&R last week so it means that I get to eat out all the time.

I went to Gusto and had the chorizo and haloumi. It was not as good as I had hoped. The part i enjoyed most was not the chorizo and haloumi but it was the mashy stuff the salad and the toasted tortilla. It just got super heavy and meh really quick.

We discovered this place called MON in Leederville and it turned out to be a really amazing little Japanese place we had the seafood board. Grilled salmon, deep-fried soft shelled crab, agedashi fish and tofu as well as salmon and scallop sashimi. The serving of this to share was a bit small considering how hungry we were but that was okay as we went to Greens & Co for cake after, I had the Concorde and my boo had the apple berry pie.

I really love Greens & Co, I always enjoy my cake and tea with my game of Connect 4, talk about childhood memories.

Food and Swims and macarons

My week. Gusto for brekkie, soup from Slurp, almond croissants from La Galette and a kani roll from Shio. There are just a few of my favourite places. Turns out that I like a veloute soup, all thick and rich. Yum.

I made chilli mussels and chocolate macarons. I have tried and true recipe that I have used for years is available here. Something that I do to make it easier to make a meringue is separate the eggs a day or 2 before using them, it seems to make it easier and use the mister from a low intensity to high gradually as it thickens from the incorporated air.

I got my dream piece, The Pulp Sesame Swim, this week. Popsicles in popsicles.

Jesus christ paid for our shins

So I was making lunch and had 2 eggs of double yolks! Like OMG! Then I realised how many bruises I had on my legs. One of my dinners I had Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, I haven't had it in ages and it is so good. And for another night I had duck for dinner just coz I wanted some. I just had the duck, it seems like the people at the duck place love me as they gave me 2 drums!!!! 

Look at what this one guy commented on my instagram. A first I was like what a god preacher then I realised how funny it was. 

BM Churros

Last week I went to another BM meet up. These things are so fun. And this time there was matchy outfit and desserts. Strawberries and strawberries, bees and a bee hive looking cheese cake. These are always so good when we get to have Nandos, Churros and Timezone. We did take purikura but we are waiting for one of the girls to scan them!

And just a quick note: I have decided that this semester I am just gonna get too busy to post everyday and I will not have enough stuff to post about. So it will be once a week starting wednesday.

Last day in Singapore

I had the best Chicken wings at Da Lian Traditional noodles. It has the true BBQ flavour totally amazing. I had Fish Slice  Bee Hoon soup for brekkie and my little sis made me a super cute balloon with, "Hope to see you soon" on it. She is adorable.

I also got to have my Hojicha frappe from Starbucks and my boo got a Vanilla something or other.

And please excuse my absence. I have been sick with a cold/flu thing. Sleeping when I can. I shall do hauls as I unpack my stuff.

Food and Belly Buttons

Kaya toast, half boiled eggs, meepok dry, mer siam, yakult bubble tea, kaya waffle, bento box and soup galore. Apple and pear pork ribs soup and Buddah jump over the wall. Everything is yummy, a bit sad that I am leaving.

With my little sisters it turns out that the older on has a mole below her belly button and the younger one has a mole next to her belly button. If I ever have to identify their bodies I should be good. They are such major cuties, I miss them already.

Re:solve

I got to go to a movie premier last night. It was my first. It was a lot of hullabaloo and talking and presenting. All I did was eat and drink and sit. It turns out the movie wasn't half bad in the end. Definitely worth watching. Very good storyline. I am someone who likes guessing what is gonna happen, and it kept me guessing till the end. It was pretty cool that my name was on my ticket package, VIP?

Fashion recap: I wore my Zara dress I just bought, love the cut out in the back. and wore my Vivianne Westwood heels, I can't believe that I survived the night in them.

Food recap: kueh chap for brekkie. Ma Maison for lunch, Squid ink pasta for me and Ma Maison Hamburger for my boo. I tried the crepe layer cake from Sashing Sweets, the texture was not what I was expected, maybe not worth the money.

Sunday Madness

Every Sunday when I am in Singapore for most of my life I get to hang out with my dad. This sunday was no different.

Went for lunch at the Maxwell Markets, Had Minced pork porridge with yu shen. I only get it once in a while, I love it. Then after we walked around Chinatown and I got guava with some spiced salt sugar stuff. Another fruit that I never get to have.  After all of this we went to my dad's friend's house and sat and chatted for so long that we ended up having dinner there.

Homemade seafood is the BEST. Curry fish head, Black epper crab, Prawns and gu gu luo (some snail thing).

I finally have proof that Nutella is to be kept in the cupboard. It actually says so on the Jar! And look at sushi, She is so cute, almost sloth like.

After all of this my dad brought me to Kombi Rocks cafe. We had soda float, something I have not had for a while. And look at this mini vespa, It makes me look like a giant.

Lego Movie

Had lunch at Thai village with my family for my mum's Chinese birthday it was delicious, bt it was so much food. I could barely finish it all.

Breakfast I had Mee Rubus from a shop in Potong Pasir that is next to that Prawn Noodle shop that was on TV once. I am rubbish at addresses, I know where it is and how to get there. That is it.

That night I brought the kids to watch the Lego Movie. Surprisingly it is a lot better than you would expect from the children's movie. I throughly enjoyed it.

Valentine's Day

This year for valentines I made it very easy for my boo. No flowers, no chocolate, no elaborate dinner. I think its rather a waste of money, take the money saved and go eat more food guys. Seriously. 

Had brekkie with my grandma and mummy just at the Kovan shops. I had Fish ball noodle while my boo had Laksa. For lunch, a bit later in the day we had chicken rice and tutu Kueh at the food republic at Vivocity. I love watching the person make the tutu kueh when I order it, a soft flour just gets steamed then the cake it made. 

We went to the S.E.A Aquarium. It was really good but I got super tired just walking around to see all the fishes. I fell a sleep sitting on the floor of the large observatory area with the huge manta rays. There were also these really awesome purple fish. I didn't look up the name. I am so cool. 

After the aquarium I got super tired so we went straight to a cafe and had more tea and little mushroom things. after we went for real dinner. I had dumpling soup and my boo had roast meat noodles of some sort. 

Do you guys know how good thiese Hong Kong Egglets are? so Yum!

Orchard Rd

My day started out in Little India where I had some pretty good pratha and dosai. Just make sure the store looks sanitary and you should be good. It turned out that I was too early to see my dad at his shop so I had to leave some goodies with the old man in the shop next door.

Then I took the bus, not my forte but thanks to google maps made it to Somerset 313 easily. Walked around did some shopping and my boo bought like real casual long pants for the first like ever. I am so proud. Then we had tea in the Tokyo desert cafe. I can't actually remember what the place was called but it was opposite Uni Qlo, where they were altering my boo's jeans. It really didn't take long at all, about an hour.  The tea was crap but the dessert was good.

Then we walked to Takashimaya where I went to the MAC store to Back-to-MAC some items for lipstick. I got 2 lipsticks, Retro and Speed dial. Outside Taka there is always my favourite ice cream stall, an Ice cream wagon where they have a cone with ata seed, sweet corn, chocolate and peanut flavoured ice cream all for a dollar. I was still peckish so we went over to ION where at the downstairs food area there is a place that sells chicken. This massive piece of chicken was $4.50 it might sound expensive but it was a HUGE piece of chicken.

Then I remembered that I was gonna go to Far East Plaza to help a friend pick up a parcel. So we walked and walked, on the way there Hyatt was next to Far East so there were some pretty sweet cars parked outside, one being a HOT PINK Lamborghini, the perfect barbie car.

Then after picking up the parcel we went to grab the train home where I got to eat lots of home cooked food. Including my favourite, Lotus root soup. Look at that peculiar fish, it kinda looks like bean sprouts.

Mani Pedi

I had breakfast today with my grandma at the market and had the saltiest chicken horfun ever. THE WORST. Then went marketing and help my grandma carry groceries to the taxi before going to get my beautiful mani pedi. However on the way to get the taxi my grandma fell down because i didn't have the arm space to help her down a step due to all the grocery carrying. Thank goodness she was okay, she fell slow motion turtle style.

I went to my usual mani pedi place in Potong Pasir. And this girl paints the butterflies so well!!!!

Went to pick my boo up from the airport too. so I got to try on my LT S strawberry dress. It is perfect. I love it. I think S might end up being too short.

After I went with my mum and my boo to a shopping centre where I bought a pretty chinese collar dress I will post a pic when I do get to wear it out.

I got to have dinner at Din Tai Fung, Xiao Long Bao, century egg, dou miao and noodles. Was so full. very delicious.

Vivocity

I went to Vivo city with my friend today, I took the MRT there it was quick and easy. The moment I got there I went to Old Chang Kee and got fish balls and sotong ball then went to Koi Cafe for bubble tea, their sago was surprisingly smaller than others I've had.

I walk around everywhere and I found these cool little gummy bear looking things, but they were bubble bath bottles. Super duper cute!

After all the walking I had Fish slice bee hoon for dinner. yummo.

Bugis

I had a bit oyster omelette (oh luat) for supper. Had Kueh Chap and an ice milo for breakfast. And this kolo mee hong tau fu for lunch, it was a lot better than expected, considering it was from bugis junction food court!

I had the best darjeeling tea ever at this place in Bugis junction called Miam Miam.  and walked around Bugis street and spotted this hilarious cat in hair rollers shirt. Then we went down Haji lane and I found these awesome Jonathan Adler UNICORN salt and pepper shakers.

My mummy had her birthday celebration and I had mushroom soup and Duck salad. My belly is only on the mend. sad times.

Never ending eats

I had breakfast with my little sister this morning. Maccas, look at my brekkie, they have chicken sausage with my hotcakes. It's so good.

Then I went to my daddy's friend's house and had steamboat. It was so tasty but my belly could only take so much. I had the softest chiffon cake made by last year's Masterchef's, Audra, mummy. Mmmmm.

I went to an asian bbq where we gambled and ate otah. Day made! This is my laciest year yet. I must be very Huat!

Moustache

Was still resting today. So I had minced pork porridge and chee cheong fun from the place on upper Serangoon road. It is the best chee cheong fun ever. They make it on the spot when you order.  And that amazing chicken wing is from the Nasi Lemak place next to the Chee Cheong fun place.

I gave My lil bro a pack on moustaches today and this happened. They are such major cuties. After my little sis ha a shower she asked me to put curlers in her hair. They are such cute buttons!!!

Food Poisioning

I didn't post last night because I spent the whole day sleeping. I had major food poisoning and slept when I was not on the toilet. I actually tired to go to my little sister's synchronised swimming class to watch. I could only watch half the time.

I went to try eat at the coffee shop near by, just had 2 watermelon slices, I threw it up. Anyways, today I feel a lot better after drinking a bottle of 100-plus and water. I am all better.

Hamper

Today I went to my daddy's shop and I got to unpack a hamper. It has been a very long time since I have last done this. I felt super skilled that I could do this without even using a pair of scissors!

I had Homemade chicken rice for dinner. Yummo!

Jakarta : Last Day

Last night I had fried ducks and chicken for supper then a jelly dessert. Breakfast, some noodle dish with wontons and some fried bean curd thing that was supper yummy.

Whenever I go past this freaky horse thing, I know that I am on the way back to the place I am staying at.

For lunch I had steamboat. It was so freaking good. I ate till I couldn't move then went straight to the airport. But without taking a photo in front of our United Nations Vehicle.

Sadly I am back in Singapore now, Where everything isn't quite as cheap as in Jakarta.

Jakarta : Day 2

Last night i had the quickest hair cut of my life. I swear, I think it took only 5 mins. A coupe of snips here and there, DONE! Totes amaze.

For brekkie I got to have Lontong Sayur, I think that since being here i have learnt to eat a little bit of spicy food. It was really good, simple and delicious.

Did you know that there was  Chatime here? I didn't the menu is not quite as good as the one in Perth though. Had nasi goreng for lunch after I had gotten my new little Loewe wallet. 

I got a limited edition elephant wallet. It is so freaking cute. 

Jakarta

This morning I got on another plane is went to Jakarta. It is a very short plane ride, only 1 hr and 40 mins. Well before the plane, my dad got to my house in the cutest little bike. 

At the airport I got a ham and cheese croissant and 2 soft boiled eggs and a teh- o. The moment we landed in Jakarta I got a box of J-Co baby doughnuts and just ate like half of them. 

For lunch I got to have the best Ayam Goreng I have every had in my LYFE. Whilst I am here I get to  stay in a very beautiful home of my dad's friend and his lovely family.  Before dinner I got to relax at a spa, I had a massage and body scrub. 

I had such a yummy dinner homemade of Soto Banjarmasin. So good. I had never had it before and I have throughly enjoyed it. 

It has been a fun and busy day so far. I think I have a home call hairdresser coming for me now. Will show the results tomorrow. 

Second Day Chinese New Year

Today I got to eat Roti Pratha and have a teh-o-beng and a sip of mil-o-beng. Pretty good, Better then the frozen stuff any day! For lunch we went to have Korean as it was one of the only places open.

When I got home I got a well needed nap. In the late afternoon all my family and relatives came over to my house where we all ate and gambled. I won! *evil laugh*

I got to see my tuition teacher of my childhood and she made some pretty epic pineapple tarts. very pretty with a good texture.

Now I am super bloated due to all the rubbish I have eaten. The #firstworldproblems of CNY.

First Day Chinese New Year

So today was the First day of Chinese New Year and went visiting to see my relatives. I got to go to my da gu's house where I get the best nibbles. Peanut ball and Pineapple tarts. I also got to have my childhood meal of mee sua with the fried seaweed, it really brings back the memories. Look at my adorable baby niece!!!! EKK! right?  Dinner I got to have my first full on Loh hei of the year. I had almost forgotten how good Kueh Pai Di was. NOM NOM.

For brekkie I also got to have crappy wonton mee due to nothing being open. however still better than some in Perth.

My Chinese New Year Eve

I spend my morning freaking out hoping I was going to get my strawberry skater but nah, it didn't come in time, not even now. Then I spent my day on a plane then I get to eat lots of food at dinner. and snacks and pretty Ang Bao decorations and my firsts actual red packets of the new year!

So now I am pooped and full. What a day!

Black Milk Batman Collection Wants.

This brand is so addictive. I have decided that instead of all of these things. I only want the burglar crop and the kapow! dress in blue.

I wanna get one of these BFTs for my boo. I think he would love it. Bane vs Batman. Which one is better?

Jeffery Campbell - Raid

I got these from a girl on a buy swap sell page. For like half the price!! Woot!!! These actually fit a bit big. I got a size 8 and I am usually like an 8.5. I love them. comfy and pretty.

What I Wore

I wore my Hell Yeah Body con dress on saturday night. It is my first body con and I was in love. It is long enough but I might buy bummers to wear  to stop the dress riding up.

Australia Day

Basically spent my Aussie day at a BBQ and in a pool. I got to hang out with Max, the huge one, and Mila, the little one. They got in the pool for a SWIM! So cute. I got to have a Bulla Crunch, which are pretty good if you don't remember, They were on sale at Coles for $3 a BOX!

I might not wear my BM stuff at pools coz it got little fluffy bits on my strawberry swim already. sad face.

Brownies

I made brownies in celebration of a lot of BM in the mail today. Sharkollage crop, Twist back top, Wetlook pocket leggings and Hell yeah body con. Happiness. With the brownies I used cacao powder instead of coco powder to get extra rich yumminess and used hazel nuts, pepitas and pine nuts instead of walnuts. It turned out super duper good.

Did you know you can get super cute watering cans from Kmart. Dinosaurs, Elephants and dolphins, Squee!

Breakfast/Brunch with My BOO

We went to Gusto food this morning and ordered their Goat's cheese as well as a Potato hotcake. Pretty freaking awesome. The only "downside" to this place is that the serving are huge and you wanna die when you try really hard to finish it. 

Went to Halo next door for drinks after. My boo says that their coffee mocha was pretty epic. I got a Berry smoothie, it had a really weird texture. Nonetheless it was still really yum.

Chilli Mussels

I made chilli mussels today, just used the ajar stuff where you just add a tin of tomatoes and chopped up onion. I bought 2kgs of mussels and managed to finish it all with my boo. In the middle of the night I went to the the servo to fuel up then I got a Cornetto. DO YOU EVEN remember how good these are?

I went to Lush and I got a couple of  products and they are amazing!!!! H'suan Wen Hua is such a good hair treatment, makes my hair feel nice. Ocean salt, is basically a cocktail in a pot of scrubby goodness. I used it all over my body and it worked pretty well.

Dosukoi in the City

I went to Dosukoi in the city. It took me SOO long to find the actually store. It is in the actual Allendale building like downstairs in the food area. Its so freaking yummy. I still wanna try the mega bowl at Arigataya. 

So I got the Soft pork ramen and the takoyaki. The takoyaki is pretty good. but I seriously can't wait to get some when I go to Singapore. 

OM NOM NOM NOMS

Baby Comeback

So this selfie is from when I waited for my boo at the airport. I actually waited an hour coz i went there straight from work as I couldn't be bothered going home for 30 mins. That was FUN. I just played candy crush and checked out Facebook.

Well the first thing we did was go grocery shopping. It's nice. Neither do I have to carry it all up nor do I have to pay. My boo is the best.

Time to recharge for the BM release tomorrow.

Sunday Session

I got a friend who is gonna go to America for 6 weeks so we had a meet up at the bar. We so cool. I got to hang out with a lot of high school friends so that was fun. One of their boyfriends wore this short that took me so long to get, well it is basically Game of Thrones X Breaking Bad. I felt so super accomplished when I worked it out. 

And I discovered Nutella Bread. So I shall attempt to make it soon.

Raspberry Bear Icy Pole

I am addicted to the shop Scoops. I got a raspberry icy pole. yummy yummy. I could taste the REAl raspberries. I really gotta control myself. It's so tempting the fact that it is right outside work on the way home.

Dinner Date

I had a dinner date with my friend. We went to Red basil thai and had glass noodle salad and red duck curry. SO freaking good. Then after we went to the gelato place opposite and had a large waffles and the mango smoothie.  Such a good night.

My Day

So Last night my boo told me that there was gonna be a cyclone at Barrow Island. This morning there was NO cyclone. I was so sad.

I went to work today and since I was sad, I decided to to get an icy pole stick thing from scoops outside of my work. They are so good!!! Then I got 1/2 a duck for dinner at the good one. Yummy.

This is the best bag of jelly beans I have ever gotten. A lot of different blues.

Kracie Decorated Cake making Kit

So I made this cake. Didn't taste very good at all. Considering how much I was craving some candy.

It was quite easy, I followed the instructions on the back.
