Blue Nails + easy nail art

I was painting my nails and I thought it would be nice to do them 2 shades of blue, Sally Hansen Pacific blue and Lime crime's Once in a blue mousse. When I thought it looked really bland so I got my handy dotting tool out and did a couple of dots of Lime crime's Pastelchio and a random brown I found.

Super easy nail art.

Just on a side note, I hate how on the IOS 7 I can't get my pictures to always be in focus.

OOTD #6

It was my third anniversary and I wore my current favourite dress and finally got to carry my taxi clutch. we had dinner at The Wild Duck, I really do not think it was work the $105 per person for the meal. I would much rather spend that money on shoes (*snickers*)

Bag Crush #2

Burberry Prorsum's the Petal in translucent rubber with flowers. I will control myself as for this beauty I will have to shell out $1500 for it and I do not have the moolah by 30th sept. Hopefully in the next 6 months Colette will come out with something similar.

The Tuck Shop Cafe

If you have never heard of this place, you have been living in a hole. I reckon it is one of the best breakfast/brunch/lunch places for food.

Beware, if you go a peak time you will have to wait an hour to eat, so go early or late. In my recent visit I have noticed that their prices have gone down, a main will not cost you more than $20. You can just about order anything and not get disappointed. I will have to recommend a pie, one of the best pies in perth I think.

This visit I ordered a meatball with hummus on flatbread and my boo ordered a bruschetta of sorts. All very delicious, of course.

Oreo Cupcakes

These are my famous Oreo Cupcakes. They are much easier than you might think and no, I did not come up with this myself.

It all started last year when I thought to myself, "Oreo cupcakes sound like a great idea!" I basically googled it and I found this recipe. The modifications I have made are that instead of pouring hot espresso to melt the chocolate, I microwave the chocolate in 30 second bursts in the microwave to prevent burning and substituted the espresso for buttermilk. Plus I think having the extra oreo on top was WAYYYY too much.

Buttermilk is not butter mixed with milk, it is a cultured milk. You can make this yourself my mixing 1 cup of milk with 2Tbs of lemon juice (please use the fresh stuff, NOT the bottle stuff) and allowing to sit until it is a bit like a yoghurt kind of texture.

OOTD #5

I basically wore this top 3 days in a row (don't judge)because I loved it so much. It looks great with high waisted shorts, high waisted blue jeans or black pants. Obsessed.

My blue eyeshadow was inspired by Marc by Marc Jacob's runway look, I never wear blue shadow in fear of looking like Mimi.

Laptop Decals

I got some laptop decals for me and my bf, they are totally epic. Ebay it.

Lime Crime Nail Polish

This polish is so good. It applies evenly, dries quite quickly and is opaque is 2 coats except for Crema De Limon and Milky Ways, which are both really light colours, so it is understandable. 

I bought mine off ebay, Lavendairy is impossible to find.

Happy kitchen

I bring to you the doughnut set from Happy Kitchen by Kracie. It is a japanese candy product and you mix the various sachets with water to make the elements and then you eat the candy! 

This set tasted like doughnuts, yummy. I got super lazy with decorating so I just dunked the various bits into the "icing".

Ridiculous Cinderella Cardigan

I was at pigeon hole and I saw this cardigan, I thought it was beautiful and I asked a sales assistant about it. It is $1200. Enough said.

It is hand stitched sequins and beads for all the detail.

Harvest espresso

Harvest espresso is my favourite for brunch. Their spring menu is finally out and I tried their mushroom ragu, AH-mazing, their almond croissant is to die for. I also tried their mocha coco-latte, just because I was intrigued, it is just a mocha latte with coconut water, interesting. They had these pumpkin, rocket and goats cheese muffins, I had no more space in my belly or I would have had it.

I really love how they always have a bunch of native flowers at the table, it just adds that touch!

I just read this post on Michelle Phan's blog and my mind is blown.

I think just about everyone has done this wrong their whole lives. Just so you don't make this mistake too.

"Brrrrr..."

I just got this awesome ice tray, "Brrrrr...", by Black + Blum. I once saw this in a Facebook photo and didn't think it was a real product, BUT IT IS. I am looking forward to spill-less ice making all summer.

I was looking on their site, I really want their awesome water bottle.

Skincare

Myer does this to me all the time, they send me a catalogue with a 10% off card and I am like "do I need skincare / underwear / shoes / clothes". So, that is basically what happened. I had just watched Allthatglitters21's August favourites video and she had mentioned the Aesop, Parsley seed cleansing masque and Antipodes, Aura Manuka honey mask, so I just had to try them because we ahve a similar skin type.

Then I remembered about Elizabeth Arden's, Eight hour cream because of Pixiwoo, they always talk about it! so I just HAD to pick it up. With the BB cream I got it because I have always wanted to try a BB cream, the korean ones always look really ashy unless you are basically porcelain pale.

I shall write reviews once I have tried them all.

Chocolate Granola

I had a real craving for chocolate cake, then I was like NO I shouldn't, so I looked up chocolate granola. Turns out that I have all the ingredients and it is super easy.

I only made 1/4 of the recipe because it is only me and I didn't know that I would like it so much.

Neon Pony

I just have to let the world know about Neon Pony. How about being my favourite shop to buy cool vintage clothes? I thought it would be harmless to just pop by today, no it wasn't, I ended up buying a dress and 2 rings, and also have a set of overalls that I need to get my size of.

Overall I always have a great time, with Kate or even with other customers who just happen to be trying trying clothes there too.

Grill'd salad

I never knew Grill'd made salad, until a work friend told me about it, their mixed vegetables and dukkah is to die for. For $13.95 I think not.

I think it would be really easy to recreate, i think you just need to grill some eggplant, sweet potato and pumpkin, cut up some cherry tomatoes, wash some salad greensand  make some quinoa. Then mix together with some fetta and balsamic vinegar and dukkah and you are done.

I am gonna try this next week after I have gone to get all the ingredients.

How to depot an eyeshadow

Depotting is a nifty little thing you can do to compress your collection of eyeshadows/blushes into a smaller space. If you want to depot I recommend getting a Z Palette as they usually come with the magnets required too.

All you need to do it pry the plastic tray from the container it is housed in, I used my metal ruler. Then place the whole plastic thing on your hair straightener on top on some baking paper, just incase the plastic gets melted everywhere. Be careful to check the base quite often, you just want it to be slightly softened so you can push the bottom to pull the metal pan off. (The metal pan can get quite hot, take care not to burn yourself! )

After all of that just stick your magnet to the back and place in to your palette.

Parcel Fun

I received 3 parcels in my parcel locker the other day. The smallest parcel was the most exciting, my lime crime nail polish. 

I have the pastelchio colour on right now, it is defs a neon green rather than a pastel. The application was really easy and smooth. Can't wait for the other colours to arrive from an Ebay seller, Rouche Boutique didn't have the other colours in stock. :c

Anyways, the other parcels were some jeans I ordered from Asos and the bottom box were just printer toner, (I thought they were the shoes I ordered from Solestruck, but i was disappointed when i opened the parcel).

Fuzzy coat nails

I just did my nails and I used Sally Hansen's Fuzzy coat, I really like the effect it gives. I have the black and white one too, it really gets people guessing how you did it.

Tiger

I was at my friends house last night and how cute is her dog, Tiger? There must be a storm coming, because he was holding on the crocodile toy for the longest time. He is a little scardy cat.

Superstar waffles

To be honest had never heard of this place till my friends brought me there. It's at Northbridge in Perth. I gotta say, pretty damn good. I got the sweet milk waffles as well as a matcha latte. Yummy!

OOTD #4

Pastel power! We got a couple of new things at work ad I am in love with this jacket, I wish it came it hot pink. Just saying. These shoes are seriously my fav, I managed to work a full day shift and my feet not completely die!

Bag Crush #1

Bagaholicboy is at it again. I saw this on my news feed on Facebook and was like, "I need this".

It is the Loewe Cartero Clutch, and I think its freaking beautiful. Unfortunately, I love Loewe and there is no Loewe counter/store in Perth. Here is to hoping that my Mummy and Daddy will get it for me in Singapore.

Red velvet cupcakes

I think I have found the best recipe for red velvet cupcakes. I followed Nigella's and it worked without a hitch! its a must try. Have I told you I love her?

I did everything the same except for the icing. I mixed the butter and cream cheese with my mixer till fluffy then added the icing sugar in 3 parts. 

And I thought to pretty it up more I watched a video in how to make icing roses, it wasn't as difficult as i thought it would be. :)

Did you know the hunt I went through to get the red gel food colouring? it tourns out there is a place not too far from me that specialises is icing colouring stuff, Sugar Smith. You should have seen the relief on my face when I found the place, seriously everywhere else was sold out of red.

Blogilates

I just wanted to let you guys know about her. I love her.

Gotta say that I am not really on to go for a run, this girl gets me to feel like I am working out with out running, push ups and sit ups.

So, Blogilates has a challenge this month, its called sweatember! I am gonna participate by following her calendar, but I am not gonna be doing the dietbet. I am not in it for the weight loss, I am more about the fitness and toning.

Kate Spade Taxi clutch

I saw this on Bagaholicboy's blog and I just had to have it. I was so happy to find an online seller who was australian and had free shipping, Papier d'amour. Just look at it!!! its got apple polka dots and a widdle taxi on top. When I received the package I ripped it open and saw it beauty. In love.

Mexican 21st.

Happy birthday Ash!

Ash had a great mexican themed 21st. I was so happy to finally be able to wear my moustaches that I have had for the longest time. It turns out i look like a creepy asian man with a moustache, so I am not gonna grow one.
